Great news! Today we are launching a series of free short stories about Noob! These aren’t written by Noob himself, but I hope you like them just as much 🙂 Also, huge thanks to Tyler Sommers who put this awesome game on my radar and suggested that I write something about it. Noob and the YouTube Simulator: The Same Thing in a Different Way

One day, Noob went to his friend Pandaman’s place. He was feeling a little down, and wanted something new to cheer him up.

“Hey, Noob!”

It was Pandaman who answered Noob at the front door. Pandaman was the complete opposite of Noob. As always, he was bright and bubbly. His energy and enthusiasm were quite evident the moment he opened the door.

“How is it going my friend?” Pandaman said.

“Not very well, Pandaman.”

Noob shrugged his shoulders and lowered his head. You could see that Noob was not feeling very well and was clearly feeling down.

“Come on inside! What’s the problem?”

As always, Pandaman was more than eager to let Noob in his house and try to cheer him up. It was always this way for Pandaman. It seemed like nothing could ever bring him down. After all, he was a panda.

Noob went inside, and sat on Pandaman’s couch. He slumped and collapsed on the couch, as soon as he got inside the house.

“Okay. So, what’s bringing you down? You really look glum. Want some iced tea?” Pandaman said.

Noob shook his head.

“I’m okay with the iced tea. I don’t know. I want to try playing at a new Roblox server.”

Pandaman couldn’t believe his ears. He was surprised at Noob’s reason.

“A new server? What happened to the old server you were playing at? I forgot its name.”

“Best that you do, Pandaman. I’ve got nothing against it, but it’s all the same. Just like the other servers where you get chased by a whole lot of dudes with guns. Chased everywhere, and shot everywhere you go.”

Pandaman chuckled.

“Isn’t that what you always wanted? I can still remember how you always told me about how you wanted action and adventure in your life.”

“Exactly. And I’ve gotten my fair share of action and adventure. In spades. I don’t want to see another guy with a gun chasing me, in a long time. I mean, after awhile, a guy’s got to slow down, capiche?”

“Capiche. So you want to go to a server that doesn’t have too much shooting and well chaos?”

Noob shrugged his shoulders.

“Yeah, something like that. Do you see where I’m going here?”

“Kinda yeah. I mean, a guy gets tired of getting shot at after awhile.”

“Exsctly! I’m glad you get it!”

Actually, Pandaman didn’t. He really couldn’t understant why Noob would want to have a change of pace. He was just good at being gracious and polite to all his guests and friends. Being a panda does that to you. After all, a panda is really a nice and cuddly little animal at heart.

The funny thing was that Pandaman also wanted a change of pace. He wanted to go to a server with a lot of action and adventure. Something that would challenge him and well, give him a nice change of pace. It was funny, but both of them wanted the same thing in a different way. It was funny and Pandaman decided to share his thoughts with Noob on the matter. More than that, Pandaman had an idea. It was a crazy idea, but it could just work. After all, it was the crazy ideas that usually did.

“You know what, Noob?”

“Yeah?”

“It might sound funny, but I’ll tell you anyway. I want to go to a server like the ones you’ve been in before. I want action and adventure! And you want a change of pace. Well guess what? I think there’s a way we can both get what we want!”

Noob raised his eyebrow at Pandaman’s suggestion. It sounded wild but interesting.

“Really? How is that?”

Pandaman began to speak with excitement.

“I’m playing in this cool new server, see? It’s called Roblox: YouTube Simulator. The game’s really simple. It’s just as the title says it is. It’s all about managing your own YouTube channel and getting the most subscribers. Sounds cool and simple, eh?”

Noob nodded. Pandaman was right. The game did sound quite appealing to him. Managing a YouTube channel would surely be a piece of cake. Best of all, there was no one who was going to shoot at him.

“Yeah, right. So are you saying you want me to play in it?”

Pandaman nodded and winked at Noob.

“I want you to do something better. I want you to manage my own channel in the server. You’ll not just get any channel. You’ll get the channel with the most subscribers!”

“Whoa!”

Noob couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Pandaman had the most subscribers and he was going to let him manage it! It sounded too good to be true.

“Whoa, whoa, Pandaman. I can’t do it. I mean, it is your channel after all..”

“Nonsense, Noob. Like I said earlier, I want a change of pace too. I need to play in a server with action and adventure. All I ask in exchange for your channel is that you let me play in one of those servers you were once in.”

“Consider it done. You can be in one of them right now. I can’t wait to be in YouTube simulator.”

Noob could not contain his own excitement. He wanted to play in a server that didn’t involve anyone trying to shoot at him. He wanted to play in a server that was simpler and wouldn’t give him too much stress. YouTube simulator sounded like just the ticket.

“Well, in that case, let’s get you into YouTube simulator!”

Both friends were very excited. Everything sounded wonderful, and they were both looking forward to playing in new servers. Everything looked great, but that’s always the way it is, before everything goes crazy all over again. Noob and Pandaman didn’t think about that of course. All that mattered now for them was that they were going to play in new servers. For Noob, it was time to play YouTube simulator!
